Nilfisk Industrial Vacuums Relocates North American Headquarters
December 02, 2010
One of the world's leading industrial vacuum manufacturers will soon call Morgantown, PA home.
Morgantown, PA, December 1, 2010— One of the world’s leading providers of industrial vacuum cleaners will soon call Morgantown, PA home. Nilfisk Industrial Vacuums is relocating its North American headquarters from Malvern, PA to the Morgantown Business Park at the end of this year.
The new Nilfisk Industrial Vacuums headquarters, located at 740 Hemlock Road, Suite 100, Morgantown, PA 19543 will support the company’s three industrial vacuum cleaner brands: Nilfisk, Nilfisk CFM and Nilfisk ALTO. It is a larger facility that will enable the growing company to continue being the industry’s preferred supplier of industrial vacuums.
“Our number one priority is to provide our customers with the best value, quality, and service. Relocating to this facility with increased warehouse space will allow us to meet our customer’s delivery expectations,” said Paul Miller, Vice President and General Manager of Nilfisk Industrial Vacuums. “Our customers can still expect the same quality products we have been offering for more than 100 years.”
The new facility in Morgantown, PA also consists of office space for the back office team that supports the company’s 17 direct sales managers and large network of distributors, located across the United States and Canada. The company’s industrial vacuum cleaners play a critical role in thousands of manufacturing facilities and industrial processes across North America, keeping workplaces free of nuisance dust and debris and improving overall worker health and productivity. Nilfisk Industrial Vacuums is a division of Nilfisk-Advance Inc., the global leader in professional cleaning equipment, and a member of the Danish NKT Group, listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. The company celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2006 and currently has sales offices in 35 countries, and including distributors, is represented in more than 100 countries worldwide. Manufacturing facilities are located in China, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, and the United States. A notable feature of the company’s history was the invention and patenting in 1910 of an electrical canister vacuum cleaner by P.A. Fisker, which was operable by a single person. This represented a huge breakthrough in domestic cleaning.
