Nestlé – Czech Republic
Application: Packaging of starch

Real Picture
 
Main needs:
  1. Recovery of starch felt during the filling, the weighing and the packaging process
  2. Recovery of paper trims
  3. Recovery of starch from broken packages

Solution: Nilfisk centralized vacuum system composed of:

  • a 12.5 kW suction unit
  • D560 filter chamber
  • cartridges kit for the continuous filter cleaning.
4 inlets in different suction points:
  • 3 inlets for the general cleaning, activated directly from the operators
  • 1 inlet for the continuous recovery of dust puffs created during the filling of the packages
Starch is classified as combustible dust, so the centralized vacuum system was ATEX Z22 certified.

Application: Production of fruit jelly for candies

Real picture

Main needs:

  1. Recovery of starch felt during the different stages of the production process.
  2. Recovery of the sugar felt during the different stages of the production process.
  3. Cleaning of the manufacturing site.

Solution: Nilfisk centralized vacuum system composed of:

  • a 13 kW suction unit
  • Ø560 filter chamber
  • star filter with manual filter-shaker
  • 175 litres removable container.

15 inlets in different suction points:

  • 4 simultaneous points for the general cleaning
  • each inlet can automatically activate the suction unit as soon as the operator opens it

Starch and sugar are classified as combustible dust, so the centralized vacuum system was ATEX Z22 certified.
